To Keep Environment for Amphibians

In “Major Initiative Proposed to Address Amphibian Crisis,” the author emphasizes that recently amphibians are faced with critical situations, so people need to study for protection of amphibians’ survival. According to the article, amphibians have a very long history in spite of their weak disposition. Amphibians have an important part among the ecosystems; their duties affect ecological balances. The leaders in this filed analyzed the fact that amphibians have diminished in their population and lots of other species vanished. The researchers pose causes such as ozone depletion, environment pollution, and appearance of new diseases. Therefore, not only individual people but also global countries lead the appropriate projects and practical new environmental laws, to keep the amphibians.

I agree with this article. This article reminds me of environmental problems, because amphibians are closely connected with others’ lives. Amphibians’ reduction can cause the breakdown of an ecosystem. Ecological balances are very important for humans and animals. Also, amphibians can play a role in economy of agriculture.

Amphibians can reduce the harm of insects for humans. Harmful insects diminish full growth plants’ amounts. For example, harmful insects nibble away at the crops and amphibians usually eat this kind of harmful insects. Also, decreasing of amphibians can affect humans’ health. For example, farmers will use pesticides more than before because they want to kill harmful insects for their plants. Therefore, people must need amphibians’ existence for their crops.

Amphibians can play a role in the ecosystem for other animals. Stronger animals usually capture amphibians in the forest. For example, one kind of wild animals needs to eat amphibians. So amphibians are interrelated in food chains of ecosystems. For example, amphibians eat insects and mostly larger animals eat amphibians. Therefore, amphibians’ roles occupy an important position in the forest.

Amphibians can affect agriculture. Farmers might be achieving higher rates of their harvest because of amphibians. Increasing amphibians can allow them to anticipate a rich year. Also, enough amphibians are useful for various large animals. Amphibians become the prey of the domestic animals. These will make profits for farmers. Therefore, rich farmers might advance the agricultural economy in their countries.

In conclusion, amphibians are closely related animals for humans. Amphibians perform the duties in human life, animal subsistence, and farming. Amphibians’ reduction and extinction both are very serious problems for the global ecosystems. People should require a great deal of effort in order to keep amphibians sound and stable for their environment.
